Product Overview

Fibre lasers employ optical fibres as their medium, evolving from amplification technologies developed for long-distance communication into high-power systems. The fibre structure consists of a central light-transmitting core surrounded by concentric metal cladding. These lasers amplify light through the Yb-doped (Ytterbium) core acting as the active medium.
Optical fibers for amplification (preamplifiers, main amplifiers) have a three-layer structure: a core and two metal cladding layers. Excitation light enters the inner cladding and Yb-doped core, exciting the atoms in the core. The laser light, confined to the core, propagates forward and is amplified by these excited atoms, growing stronger as it travels. Unlike solid-state or gas lasers, the light only moves in one direction without reflection.

Product Advantages

Fibre Laser Marking Machine with Integrated Labeling System

Easy to use

High-power fibre laser coders excel at marking abrasive products like engine components, ball bearings, braking systems, extruded products, and cables. Their clear, durable markings ensure lifelong legibility even under harsh conditions.
● The laser source offers exceptional longevity, with an MTBF of approximately 100,000 hours.
● Air-cooled lasers are nearly maintenance-free, featuring no wearable parts to minimize downtime.
● Standard 100*100 marking area, as well as high marking accuracy and edge sharpness for higher throughput.
● IP54-rated for reliable operation in dusty/humid conditions.
● Flexible integration with adjustable working distances and 360° print head rotation for production lines.

Laser marking effect

The marking material, the laser wavelength, and the type of laser will all affect the marking results. Here are a few effects of fibre optic coding.
● Melting of different plastic materials to achieve concave and convex effects;
● A chemical reaction between the laser and the product causes the colour to change;
● Engraving on product surfaces, e.g. cans and metal surfaces;
● Ablate or remove the surface coating colour to reveal the underlying replacement colour;
● Carbonization or controlled burning of wood, cardboard, cables, and tubes.

Fibre laser marking case

Fibre laser marking machine is equipment that uses a high-energy laser beam generated by a fiber laser to create permanent marks on various material surfaces. The marking process works by engraving patterns, text, or 2D codes through laser-induced evaporation, chemical changes, or surface layer ablation.
Fiber laser marking machine can be applied to metal and non-metal materials, including aluminium, stainless steel, copper, iron, steel, alloy, ceramics, glass, plastics, rubber, wood, paper and so on. Its marking effect is clear, beautiful, durable and anti-counterfeiting, and it is suitable for a variety of industries, such as electronics, machinery, automotive, communications, food, packaging, etc.
